Hey welcome to Flixy – the winners of the Sydney Startup Weekend.

We recommend anyone who’s curious about startups to do a Startup Weekend, they have them all over the world in over 130 cities, so there’s one near you.  They also offer awesome prizes and you’ll get to meet a tonne of amazing people.

Flixy was born during the Startup Weekend when Josh Rea and Liam Holmes got together and formed a team.  Their concept was to build a mobile app that helped cinemas fill half-full sessions by giving discounted tickets to users.  Win-win.
